On the 4th Blog of Christmas

I offer up 4 themes of decorations for Christmas!

1. Sophisticated or Modern Decor-- when I think sophisticated I think elegance, lace, curvy lines... when I think Modern I think clean, straight lines, no clutter.  Both are great looks for a "Downtown Christmas," Christmas in your first apartment, or for hosting many parties.
• Sophisticated Christmas: BIG TREES, faded/soft colors, & antique touches. Think Barney's NY xMas window!
• Modern Christmas: sparse trees, bold colors, & foreign-inspired touches

   2.   Color Scheme Decor-- there are many options for this route.  You can pick Christmas colors, 

         gold, silver, gold & silver, your favorite colors, your sports team's or college's colors... whatever

   3.   Theme of the Year Decor-- pick from my list of come up with your own favorite winter (or non-

         wintery) theme!!

   4.   Classic Decor-- children-made ornaments, handmade stockings, & a wreath hanging on the door. 

         A big green tree too! ;)
