- Christmas lights on crack. There's always that ONE neighborhood that goes above & beyond and overdecorates for Christmas. Pick an evening and visit that neighborhood. Take a stroll or slow drive and look at all of the beautiful lights. Many businesses even decorate for Christmas to raise money for charities. Santa's Wonderland in College Station, TX
and The Gift of Lights (from any local NASCAR-operating Speedway)
2. Make a gingerbread house. No home should be without one of these in the days leading up to Christmas! Heck, make a whole town if you have time!!
3. Go to a local church and watch a Christmas pageant
It gives you the opportunity to support your local church(es) & community and get a little cultured Christmas cheer!
